The Aspegren Garden
The Aspegren Garden includes:
The Great Garden, The Rose Garden, The Biblical Garden and The Northern Field.
Vicar Gabriel Aspegren allowed the construction of two stonewalled gardens at Rosenlund: a small herb garden and a larger kitchen garden. During the 18th century manors and vicarages often exemplified horticultural activities and distributed information and enlightenment with emphasis on commercial aspects.
Today, the Aspegren gardens have been reconstructed according to the old descriptions and documents. Cultivation activities are conducted using methods most applicable to nature. We wish to help preserve, and maintain in abundance, the old cultural plants.
Are you interested in renting one of our 24 allotments? Reach out to us through the form at the bottom of the page.
